Procedure 2026-27

Comprehensive rules, round-wise eligibility, security fee policies, and document checklist for NEET (UG) candidates.

NEET-2026 Counseling Criteria

Counseling will be conducted based on merit in NEET-2026 according to the following percentile cutoffs.

UR 50th Percentile 213 & above
EWS 50th Percentile 213 & above
UR / EWS – PwBD 45th Percentile 194 & above
OBC 40th Percentile 177 & above
SC 40th Percentile 177 & above
ST 40th Percentile 177 & above
SC / OBC – PwBD 40th Percentile 177 & above
ST – PwBD 40th Percentile 178 & above

First Round of Online Counselling

Round 01
Procedure & Key Conditions:
Register online, pay the registration fee, and submit preference choices.
Allotment letter generation requires a ₹25,000 security deposit.
Security fee carries forward if the candidate joins and opts for Round 2 upgradation.
Security fee is forfeited if candidate fails to join, surrenders, or provides false registration details leading to cancellation.

Unallotted candidates can proceed to Round 2 automatically.

Second Round of Online Counselling

Round 02
Eligible Candidate Breakdown:
Group I

Registered candidates with no seat allotted in Round 1.

Group II

Reported/Joined Round 1 candidates seeking seat upgradation.

Group III

Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 who chose not to join.

Group IV

Newly registering candidates entering in Round 2.

Note on Resignation: Admitted candidates seeking to surrender or resign must apply through their college Principal to the Registrar, UAU Dehradun prior to Mop-Up round registration.

3rd / Mop-Up Round

Key Instructions:
Physical Reporting: Eligible candidates must present themselves in-person before the Counselling board with all original documents.
Bank Return Account: Security deposit must originate from the candidate's or parent's account; refunds will credit back to the same source.
Strict Withdrawal Policy: Round 1/2 admitted candidates can only surrender before Mop-Up registration starts (with free forfeiture). Surrendering after this deadline renders candidates ineligible for further AYUSH/UAU counselling.

Ist Round of Online Counseling
Online Registration, Fee submission with choice filling, and final printout for Ist Round of Counseling 24.09.2026 to 01.10.2026
Display of Merit List 05.10.2026 (11:30PM)
Declaration of result after Counselling Board Meeting 08.10.2026 (11:30PM)
Last date of joining the allotted college 09.10.2026 to 15.10.2026
(only on working days)
Note.
  1. UAUC-UG-2026-27 Counseling Board reserves the rights to modify the above counseling schedule anytime in case of any inevitable circumstances.
  2. Candidates are advised to visit university website regularly.
  3. Admission process will be done only on working days.

Required Documents Checklist

Produce self-attested copies along with original documents during physical college reporting.

5 Coloured Passport-Size Photographs
High School (10th) Marksheet and Certificate for Age proof.
12th (10+2) Certificate & Marksheet
NEET 2026 Admit Card & Result/Rank Letter
Reserved Category Certificate, if applicable (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS)
Certificate of Sub-Category, if applicable. (for Domicile/Permanent resident of Uttarakhand only)
Ex-Servicemen/Dependent of Ex-servicemen /Dependent of FF/ PwBD / Orphan category certificate issued by competent authority of Uttarakhand state only, if applicable.
Certificates required for Ward of Kashmiri Migrants, if applicable.
Domicile Certificate (For Uttarakhand domicile candidate only)
Valid ID proof (preferably Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License etc.)
Character Certificate (by last institute attended).
Migration Certificate (original)
Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate (original)
Affidavit of Gap (if applicable)
Allotment letter of UAUC U.G. 2026-27
Other supporting documents as required by the candidate.
Other documents as required by the concerned college (e.g. Notarized affidavit and Online Anti-Ragging Undertaking at Anti-Ragging portal of UGC, Medical Fitness Certificate etc.)
Important Disclaimer
  • Form submission is final; no modifications are permitted once submitted for a specific round.
  • The university reserves the right to conduct a Stray Vacancy Round if seats remain vacant post Mop-Up round.
  • Check the official university portal regularly. Individual intimations will not be dispatched.
