Educational visit organized by the Kaumarbhritya Department

About Event:

An educational visit was organized by the Kaumarbhritya
Department of our college with the objective of enhancing practical knowledge and clinical exposure among undergraduate/postgraduate students. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-life pediatric practice.

During the visit, students were exposed to various aspects of child health care, including growth and developmental assessment, nutritional status evaluation, common pediatric disorders, and their management from both preventive and curative perspectives. Emphasis was laid on understanding Ayurvedic principles of Balroga, infant and child feeding practices, immunization awareness, and counseling of parents.

Faculty members guided students throughout the visit, explaining clinical findings, diagnostic approaches, and treatment protocols relevant to Kaumarbhritya. Students actively interacted with clinicians/healthcare staff and observed patient handling, history taking, and examination techniques.

The educational visit proved to be highly informative and
interactive. It enriched students’ learning experience, improved
their observational skills, and strengthened their understanding of practical applications of Kaumarbhritya concepts. Overall, the visit was successful in fulfilling its academic objectives and was appreciated by both students and faculty.
