A healthier tomorrow begins with the choices we make today—and Ayurveda has guided humanity towards better choices for thousands of years. Ayurveda Day 2026, with the theme “Ayurveda for Healthier Tomorrow,” highlights the vision of creating a healthier society through prevention, healthy living, healthcare practices and Ayurvedic principles.Ayurveda emphasizes that health is not merely the absence of disease, but a state of balance and well-being of the body, mind and spirit. Principles such as Dinacharya, Ritucharya, balanced nutrition, lifestyle, preventive healthcare and healthy ageing provide guidance for living. Thus, Ayurveda Day is a celebration of our ancient heritage and an opportunity to spread awareness and empower people to adopt principles in daily life. Our institution will organize activities including poster, e poster, slogan and drawing competitions, awareness rallies, reel and video-making competitions, Ayurveda recipe activities and photography competitions. Community initiatives will include mass Prakriti assessment, counselling camps and awareness programmes on healthy living, healthy ageing, seasonal diseases and preventive measures. Patient-education activities will focus on diabetes and hypertension, emphasizing lifestyle modification and preventive care.Through these initiatives, we aim to bring Ayurveda closer to the community and inspire people to live its principles today for a healthier tomorrow.
