About Event:

Building on the inspiring success of our previous two editions, which saw overwhelming participation from students, faculty members, staff, local pradhans, villagers, and the entire university community, Dev Bhoomi Hospital is proud to organize Mega Blood Donation Camp 3.0. September holds immense significance as it marks National Blood Donation Day, World Leukemia Day, World CML Day, and Blood Cancer Awareness Month. As healthcare leaders and community pillars, Dev Bhoomi Hospital and our university are dedicated to supporting patients in need and saving lives. By contributing to these life-saving blood reserves, every donor plays a direct role in aiding critical treatments, trauma care, and cancer therapies. Join us in making this edition our most impactful yet.

Highlights of Events:

Multi-Center Medical Collaboration: Expert medical teams from six leading regional blood banks work simultaneously to handle high donor turnout safely and seamlessly. (we have invited, Doon Hospital Blood Bank, Subharti Hospital Blood Bank, IMA Blood Bank of Uttarakhand, Dev Bhoomi Blood Centre, City Blood Bank, SRHU Blood Bank).

• Comprehensive Health Screening: Free preliminary health checkups—including hemoglobin checks, blood pressure monitoring, and blood grouping—for every participantprior to donation.
  
• Streamlined Component Separation: Immediate processing into red blood cells, plasma, and platelets to directly support blood cancer patients, trauma care, and emergency surgeries.
  
• Community-Wide Mobilization: Active participation across university students, faculty, staff, local villagers, and village pradhans.
  
• Donor Appreciation & Recognition: Certificate of appreciation, official donor cards for future emergency access, and nutritious refreshment kits provided to all donors.

Aim of the Event:

• Replenish Critical Reserves: Secure a safe, continuous supply of blood units to support emergency surgeries, trauma care, and critical treatments at Dev Bhoomi Hospital.
• Support Blood Cancer Patients: Provide vital blood products—such as red blood cells and platelets—to individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma during Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
• Unite Campus and Local Community: Foster civic engagement and social responsibility by bringing together university students, faculty, staff, local villagers, and village pradhans for a shared humanitarian cause.
• Raise Health Awareness: Educate the public on key September observances—including World Leukemia Day, World CML Day, and National Blood Donation Day—to emphasize early diagnosis and health education.
• Build a Regular Donor Base: Encourage first-time donors among youth and community members to establish a lifelong habit of voluntary blood donation.
